Whimsical Christmas Trees Card Class is here!
What’s your biggest hurdle to getting started on making Christmas cards? For me, and many other crafters, it’s waiting too long to get started. Happily, help is on the way! Help is the Whimsical Christmas Trees Card Class! Ta-Da!!
What makes this card class different?
First of all, it begins as a regular Stamped Impression online card class, where you register for online instructions (both video and pdf) PLUS a card kit in the mail. Besides making some beautiful card designs, we’ll discuss tips on how to make multiples of these cards. This is so important for the holidays.
Each card kit includes:
- Cardstock, cut for you, to create 8 cards, 2 in each of 4 designs. (I even die cut for you, if you don’t order/own the dies.)
- Old Olive/Pretty Peacock Reversible Ribbon *
- Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon *
- Rhinestone Basic Jewels *
- 8 Medium Basic White Envelopes
* There are lots of these items left over, so you can make more projects! Fun!!
I used the Whimsical Trees (red rubber cling) stamp set and the Christmas Trees dies on these cards, as well as Mint Macaron and Night of Navy Stampin’ Classic Ink. You can purchase these items to make your own cards. These products will ship to you directly from Stampin’ Up! Special links are provided below.
Don’t want to purchase the stamps and/or dies? No problem. You can make your own cards using an alternate stamp set. However, your cards won’t look exactly like mine. This card class does not include samples of cards made with an alternate stamp set.
But here’s the “special” addition to the class… After you receive your card kit, you can order supplemental card kits. These are a little different than the kits above. Each kit contains only enough Stampin’ Up! products to make FOUR cards of ONE design. You select the card design(s). You don’t need to order all 4. But you must order the cards in kits of 4, one design per kit. You can order as many supplemental card kits as you like!
Each supplemental card kit contains:
- All “straight-lined” cardstock already cut.
- Cardstock to be die cut. This cardstock is not die cut for you.
- 4 envelopes.
- Ribbons and rhinestones for your cards, but only enough, plus a little extra for the 4 cards you choose.
Each supplemental card kit costs $10, PLUS shipping.
However, if you buy the Whimsical Trees bundle, (ie the stamp set AND the the dies,) then ONE supplemental card kit is free. You can order the bundle at the time you register for class or when you order the supplemental card kits.
To summarize, register and take the class. Decide which card(s) you’d like to send this year. Then order supplemental kits to make more of them!
Okay, you don’t need to finish the card class to order the supplemental card kits. You just need to pick your favorite(s)!
So you can be done making holiday cards in just a few weeks from now. Woo-hoo!!!

The Fine Print
- Stampin’ Up! does not allow us to sell stamped images on unfinished products. Therefore, I can’t stamp the die cut shapes for you. If you don’t buy the dies, you can always cut out the Christmas Trees with a hobby blade of scissors. (Although they won’t look as nice as the die cut trees.)
- You can order supplemental card kits until October 15, 2021. However, if needed products become unorderable, substitutions will be provided. Thus, order early.
- Any card kits described here are only available in the United States.
- Any card kits described here are available only through me, Sandi Phelan.
- You can purchase only the pdf instructions – that excludes all videos, card kits and tips.
Register for online card class now
Are you ready? You only have a week. To register for card class, you must sign up and pay in full, by Friday, September 10, 2021, at 9 AM Central (or 10 AM Eastern, 8 AM Pacific). I’ll place my order for Stampin’ Up! supplies at that time.
The steps are:
- Complete this Google Signup Form.
- I’ll notify you to complete your payment. You can pay by credit card (I’ll send a Square invoice), Venmo, or Zelle.
- If you haven’t heard from me within an hour of Step #2, please email or text me. I don’t want to let any sign-ups slip between the cracks.
- Submit your payment by the deadline. Online class plus card kit is $32. PDF file only is $15.
Once that’s all done, your registration is complete! Time for a Happy Dance.
I’ll send out information about the supplemental card kits when I send the online class to you, on September 22, 2021.
