NEW – Quiet Meadow Stamp Set
Don’t you love those flowers? They’re from the Quiet Meadow stamp set. This is a brand new stamp set in the new Stampin’ Up! catalog.
When I first saw Quiet Meadow, I wasn’t so keen on the flowers. After all, I have plenty of flower stamp sets. But then, I started to work with the images. Now, I love them! Can’t get enough of them! They look somewhat delicate. But color them boldly and they make a strong statement!
If you took my online card class last month, then these yellow and black circles should look a little familiar. That’s one of the elements we worked with. Since I had a few extra circles just lying around, I decided to put them to good use. I combined them with the flowers and sentiment from Quiet Meadow.
The flowers were colored with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. Then I applied a little Wink of Stella on top. Subtle effect.
The Daffodil Delight ribbon, which just retired yesterday, added some nice texture. But, if you don’t have this ribbon, you can substitute a thin strip of cardstock. Of course, don’t overlook the Metallic Pearls in the lower right hand corner.
