Valentine for Kids

Do you  need valentines for children? Perhaps goody bags, too? Well, here is a cute, yet quick, project for you. First the bag …

LoveYouMuch01

It uses the Love You Much stamp set. I covered the front and back of a lunch bag with Whisper White card stock, and stamped hearts all over in Pretty in Pink ink. A strip of Real Red card stock and Sahara Sand Designer Series Paper add some focus. The sentiment was stamped, then punched with the 1-1/4" Circle Punch. I also stamped Real Red from the 1-3/8" Circle Punch and Pretty in Pink from the Scallop Circle Punch. After piercing each scallop with the Piercing Tool, I attached the whole thing to the horizontal stripe with Stampin' Dimensionals. Can you see the Red Chunky Stampin' Glitter on the center heart?

To go with the goody bag – or to send on its own, is a little Valentine Card. You can make it exactly like the bag, or simplify it as I did.

The finished car is 3" x 3". It's very much like the bag, except without glitter! I added a few small punched hearts – just for fun! This card fits nicely into our Whisper White Mini Square envelopes!

Happy Valentine's Day, Kids!

Until next time,
Happy stamping!

  1. Yes, we can all use a treat from time to time.

And thank you so much for all the feedback. Just be sure that I don’t get in the way of what you’re really supposed to be doing!
