Spooky Candy

As a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I have an upline. Everyone has an upline. This is the demonstrator who recruits you. And, hopefully, you, in turn, have downlines – the people that you recruit to become Stampin' Up! demonstrators.

My upline, Janice, is great. She is there for advice, encouragement, and many good ideas. She's very successful in her business and is willing to take the the time to help us become successful.

Janice hosts a quarterly business meeting for her downlines. The last one was this past weekend. Among other activities, we did a shoebox swap. That's where each demonstrator designs a card (or other item) and prepares the materials for everyone else to make a sample of her item.

Here is the shoebox swap that Janice made: CandyWrapper01 How cute is that? It's made with the Big Shot and the Candy Wrapper Bigz L Die. The finished box is approximately 2" x 1-3/8" x 1-3/8". Perfect for holding a few Halloween candies! The ends twist to easily open and close.

A little Designer Deries Paper around the middle, a couple of punches, including the Bitty Bat (new this year), and you're all done. Use as a decoration or to give sweet treats t o special friends.

And just think. You can change the colors and the punches, to use this same treat box for Christmas, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, and so on.

What a fun idea. And so quick! I made this in less than 5 minutes, start to finish.

Not every project needs to take hours and hours!

And, by the way. Any of my downlines are welcome to attend Janice's meetings!

Until next time,
Happy Stamping,
Sandi

This is adorable! And it looks like it was so difficult to make but I know it isn’t! That’s at least half of the fun of handmade — with the right stuff, you can make something in minutes that looks like it took hours! woo hoo!
