Do you have a favorite spot where you make cards and scrapbook? Do you need one? It can be anything from a corner in the kitchen or your bedroom, to a completely separate craft room. The important thing is that it works for you.
Here is mine.
I’m really lucky. When we bought our house, we had 3 kids living at home. Eventually, I was able to convert an empty bedroom into my craft room. Bonus!!
And in this photo, you can see my favorite thing about this room. It’s the early morning sun!
The window in the photo faces north. I have 2 north-facing windows, actually, that look onto my street. So, while I craft in my private space, I can keep an eye on the street and its comings and goings. However, there’s another window on the east side of the room. And when there’s a beautiful sun rise, it reflects into my room. Makes me happy!
Oh, yes, I have the tables, the lights, all the tools, stamps and ink. But I have sunrise, too. Ahhh. And that makes me happy. In fact, I think that’s the most important quality of my craft room! Because when I’m happy, creating comes much more easily to me!
