Stampin' Up! is a good corporate citizen. This year is the 10th year that Stampin' Up! has supported Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). Together, with its demonstrators, $1 million dollars has been donated to this organization. See the flyer here.
The program continues this year. From the sale of each Moving Forward stamp set, Stampin' Up! will donate $3 to RMHC. So, while your purchase of this set brings pleasure to you and to the recipients of your craft, it also brings support to many families. Thank you.
Today's card is made with the boat from the Moving Forward stamp set.
Colors are Island Indigo, Daffodil Delight, Certainly Celery and Whisper White. I ran the white card stock through the Big Shot machine with the Elegant Lines embossing folder. Turning it upside down makes it look like waves!
The Sweet Baby sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set and it was cut out with the Big Shot and the Bitty Banners Framelit. (Did I ever mention that the Big Shot is probably one of my most used tools? It's second only to my Stampin' Scrub and my Stampin' Mist that I use to clean and condition my rubber stamps!)
Getting back to the card… It shows lots of ways to add dimension. First, there's the embossing folder, I mentioned earlier. There's a Rhinestone Basic Jewel at the top of the mast – it adds sparkle. Of course. there's the bow from Certainly Celery 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon. Finally, I attached the center circle to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. The banner is also attached with a Stampin' Dimensional. Here is a closer look.
This design was inspired by my upline, Janice Weightman. She is a most creative person!
So, if you're looking for something charitable to do today, think about Moving Forward!
Unfortunately, I’ve known a few families that needed the services of RMDH. They do great work.
Thanks for commenting.

So sweet! Love the little sailboat! As an almost-grandmother, when I think about all the little ones (and their families) that are benefited by RMDH, I can’t help but tear up a little. I hope that my grandbabies will never have the need of RMDH, but it’s such a comfort to know that help is there. I will be proud to support their fine work.
