Moving Forward with Primrose Poppies!

The fun part of making cards with rubber stamps is that I'm not restricted to the things I find in Real Life. I have the opportunity to change things up, as I wish! That is what happened today with my card – Moving Forward with Primrose Poppies!

MovingForward03

The main images are from the Moving Forward stamp set, which Stampin' Up! sells to support the Ronald McDonald House Charities. While this stamp set might look a little "juvenile" at first glance, the images are easily adapted to the more mature audience!

I stamped the main images in Primrose Petals, one of the colors in the new In Color Collections. I ran the card stock through the Big Shot with the Window Frames Collection Framelits Dies and sponged the edges. I also stamped the card front with the Pleasant Poppies background stamp.  I just love these flowers, don't you?

The card is simple, but it has a lot of detail. Those details make it more interesting. They also let your recipient know that you care enough to add that extra touch of specialness.

I'm going to save this card for a special friend. Do you ever do that – make a card and save it for someone special? Leave a comment below and let me know.

In the meanwhile, I'll continue to design cards that are not restricted by Nature!

  1. There is no set time frame for visiting my blog. You’re welcome to visit at any time!

The only thing that’s changed, is that I’ve blocked comments 2 weeks after a blog post is published. I’ve been receiving some “odd” comments. But, you always know how to reach me!

And thanks for the compliment. I think the Pleasant Poppies stamp set makes ANY card look great!
