Masculine Birthday Card Design

Today, for a change, I created a Masculine Birthday Card Design. It's just for my stash and designed with no particular person in mind. I admit it. I have a ton of birthday cards designed with flowers and hearts, but almost none suitable for a man.

This masculine birthday card design looks almost like the inside of a mschine!

It started with the strips of Whisper White, Sahara Sand and Basic Black card stock. These are leftovers from a scrapbooking project. The strips were created by running the card stock through the Big Shot with the Tasteful Trim Bigz XL Die. I use this die in many of my scrapbooks, but rarely on cards. Hmmm. I must re-think that strategy!

The card base was stamped with one of the images from the Clockworks stamp set. This set appears in the Annual Catalog. I bought it quite a while ago, intending to use it specifically in Masculine Birthday Card Designs. I've only used it once before. However, I intend to keep it out more regularly from now on!

The sentiment is from Delightful Dozen. This set is a great option for anyone. It includes 12 different sentiments. With just one set, you're ready for almost any occasion. I punched out the text with the Decorative Label Punch. I introduced some Gumball Green for pop and I think that it worked out well.

How about you? Do you have any Masculine Birthday Card Designs in your card stash? Leave me a comment below!
