Happy Thoughts of Spring!

It's so cold today in the Midwest, that I can feel it in my bones! So, I turn to my craft room for warmth and Happy Thoughts of Spring!

This card makes me think Happy Thoughts of Spring!

Most of the stamped images are from the Spring Sampler stamp set in the Spring Catalog. This has to be one of the most fun sets I've used! I kept a polka dot theme going with the punched circles, as well as the stamped circles on the card base. Do you recognize that stamp? It's part of Bright Blossoms from the Annual Catalog. It's fun (and most practical) to use stamping products in more than one way)!

Did you notice the ribbon? It's part of the Sycamore Street Ribbon & Button Pack from the Sale-A-Bration brochure. It's satin, real soft and so easy to work with! (I expect my daughters to snag some for their hair when they see it on my cards!)

The card base is Pool Party. Other colors used are Melon Mambo, Lucky Limeade, Daffodil Delight, and Marina Mist.

By the way, I made this as an all-occasion card. But the soft color of the card base, with the cute little stamped images, allows it to work well as a baby card, too! This is a good design to keep in your card stash. You never know what special event will be coming your way!

In the meanwhile, I will continue to think Happy Thoughts of Spring!
