Keep it Simple

Remember that KISS Rule – Keep it simple, sweetie. Some of you know that I had a little surgery last week. I'm back in the craft room now, but I have somewhat limited ability with my left hand, and even when I feel like I can do things, this bandage gets in the way. Plus, everyone stresses as we prepare for the holidays. So, I decided it's time to celebrate the KISS Rule.

Day of Gratifute02

A card just can't get any simpler than this! I made the wreath using the leaf image from Day of Gratitude. I stamped it both in Garden Green and Always Artichoke. The red berries are the circle image from Playful Pieces (hostess Level 3 stamp set). I couldn't find the sentiment I wanted in the correct size … so I wrote it with a Real Red Stampin' Write Marker. A couple pieces of satin ribbon, mounting on Real Red card stock. And I was done!

By the way, one of my favorite things to do is f find multiple uses for a stamp set. Did you realize that this Thanksgiving stamp set could be used for a Christmas wreath?!

Let's try to remember that we're supposed to be celebrating the holidays, not working 24 hours a day ….

Until next time,
Happy Stamping!

Brilliant!! Yes, I LOVE when we can find multiple uses for a stamp or a punch. It just takes looking at an image with a slightly different viewpoint and voila! Something absolutely new! That sort of thing doesn’t happen to me, personally, very often but you know that I’m always happy to celebrate some one else’s genius!
