Have you tried Paper Pumpkin – previously My Paper Pumpkin? I admit that I was disappointed in the early subscription service. But the current one is so much better. When my monthly box arrived last week, I couldn’t wait to make this project. It’s called One Great Year and the name is perfect!
Isn’t this a fun design? Here’s another view, showing the entire year.
Best of all, the kit contains everything I needed to complete the project: stamps, ink, card stock, pre-printed flowers and calendar pieces, banners and the stand. It even included the twine, Stampin’ Dimensionals and Mini Glue Dots. All I needed to add was my favorite double-sided adhesive and some scissors!!
Here’s a closer look at all 12 months.
The instructions were VERY clear, but I chose to do my own thing. I laid out the 12 base cards, each with a month. Then I mixed and matched Paper Pumpkin elements until I was happy with the outcome. I even had a few pieces left over! Cool The whole thing took me well under an hour. Even with all the fussing and re-grouping!
I like to have an attractive calendar on display. I use it for a quick look-ups. My phone and computer manage the details of my schedule. But this is just so nice to have.
Paper Pumpkin is a great subscription service. Only $14.95 per month, plus shipping and sales tax. Definitely worth the price. You can even pre-pay for several months at once and save a little money. Plus, if you’re not crazy about the project one month, then give it away to another paper crafter. You can even donate it!
If you’re looking for a gift to someone who’d like to do a little paper crafting, or you’re interested in making your own projects, without acquiring all the supplies, then consider Paper Pumpkin.
Be sure to let me know if you have any questions!
