I wish your glass is always half full. In every aspect of your life. While I don’t drink very much and I certainly wouldn’t encourage it a lot, the Half Full stamp set has several beautiful sentiments. They’re all described in terms of wine. I choose to look at the deeper meaning!
Some Card Designs Evolve
This card design certainly falls into that category. I believe I had three versions before this one.
The first Half Full card design was only Merry Merlot and Whisper White. (I thought it was most appropriate to use Merry Merlot on a card that had wine in the sentiment. Don’t you agree?) It was a little boring.
The second Half Full card design introduced the Smoky Slate layer. However, since the first card was boring, I decided to color in the liquid in the wine glasses. Some were Merry Merlot. Others were So Saffron. To put is bluntly, that design was far too busy. And ugly.
Layers were added and removed throughout. At the end, I stopped with this design. It’s a little plainer than I had intended. However, I feel that each layer has an important function to fulfill.
Half Full Stamp Set
Although I don’t use this stamp a lot, I find I use it for specific occasions. It was the only stamp set that I used on my personal holiday cards. I often use it when creating a tag to accompany a gift bottle of wine. I really love the text that’s part of the set. Check out Half Full in my online store and see what I mean.
Retiring on June 3
Hard to believe that another year has gone by. The current annual catalog will retire on June 3, 2019. This stamp set, Half Full, will retire with the catalog. Its availability is guaranteed until May 25, but after that, it’s for sale only while supplies last. You know what that means, right? It means that you should pick up this fun stamp set before it’s gone forever.
So, make sure that your glass is half full and pick up this stamp set today. You’ll be glad that you did! After all, I wish that your glass is always half full!
