Just 1 week until Valentine's Day, and I'm still working on cards. Here is one inspired by my upline. (That's the Stampin' Up! demonstrator who recruited me.)
The primary colors are Real Red, Basic Gray and Whisper White. I used some Love Impressions Designer Series Paper (#121780) from the Occasions mini catalog, and, of course, the XOXO (#121909 or #121973) stamp set. The heart, punched with the Extra Large Full Heart punch (119883), was sponged and attached with Stampin' Dimensionals to the 4 layers of card stock to really highlight it. Some Basic Rhinestone Jewels (#119246) and died Taffeta ribbon (#109070). Fun, isn't it?
I could have made this much simples – reduced the number of layers, eliminated the rhinestones and skipped the Stampin' Dimensionals. But together, they really make everything pop!
Check in tomorrow for another fun valentine project!
Until next time,
Happy Stamping!
Sandi
Love the gray with the red! I gotta remember that color combination. Great focal point with the offset square and heart in the middle. Cute paper! Never, ever reduce layers!!!! Excellent card!!
