Today is a great day to shop, as there are 3 active Stampin’ Up! catalogs:
- 2014-2015 Annual Catalog.
- Occasions Catalog.
- 2015-2016 Annual Catalog.
But, as of tomorrow, there will be only one. As a last goodbye, here is a card using one of my all-time favorite stamp sets.
Blooming with Kindness has been in the catalog for several years. The image is timeless. Perfect for so many techniques. Simple, delicate, yet interesting. I simply love it, don’t you??
The sentiment is from High Five. Again, one of my favorite stamp sets, but (I believe) terribly unrecognized in the catalog. In fact, it’s retiring after only one year. Sob!
Colors used are Mossy Meadow, Blushing Bride and Whisper White. Truly classic!
I stamped the flower and let it dry very well. Then, using a circle cut out of scrap paper, I sponged a circle lightly. It covered the flower partially, but goes off to the side. Part of my artsy-ness!!!!
Remember that since this is the only day that products from all the catalogs are for sale, the online store is likely to be slow-moving. Pour yourself a cup of coffee, or tea, and settle down. It’s a great day to shop!
