Fast & Fabulous Flowers

I needed a fast-and-fabulous birthday card the other day, but I didn't want it to look like it was fast – know what I mean?! Hmmm. Where to find my inspiration? The Fast & Fabulous stamp set, of course!

This stamp set is a Hostess Level 2 stamp set. That means it's not for sale. But it can be yours for hosting a workshop. If the total sales at your workshop are $300 or more, you can choose this as your free gift – in addition to $35 in free merchandise of your choice. And, by the way, the average workshop sales are $308. So, it's easy to achieve.

But back to the card.

This card uses 2-step stamping, one of the best techniques. Add a little sponging and Golden Glow Smooch Spritz. While the color scheme is More Mustard, Always Artichoke and Very Vanilla, I use black for a little "pop" – it's in the 1-1/4" grosgrain ribbon and the narrow mat behind the flowers. If course, the Cajun Craze button is front and center. And just to be sure that this card does not have the look that says I-put-it-together-real-fast, I ran the card front through my Big Shot machine, with the Textured Impression Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder. (A little sponging helps that design stand out.)

Tell me what you think? Should I include this card in my next class?

Until next time,
Happy Stamping,

Woops, totally missed this one! Sorry! Yes, yes, yes, include in a class! It might even persuade me to actually use that ribbon that I’m hoarding. It could happen!
