Today's project uses lots of new products from the new Stampin' Up! catalog, but also a few of my existing favorites! I begin, obviously, with Everything Eleanor in the New In Colors!
In Colors on this project are Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple and Gumball Green. So Saffron was selected for balance.
The main image contains stamped flowers from Everything Eleanor. I added Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter and a Pearl Basic Jewel to each flower. Gives it some B*L*I*N*G, as well as fun! The center card stock and its mat, were shaped using the Big Shot and the Labels Collection Framelits. I attached the unit to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Take a closer look at the mats. The So Saffron layer was stamped with Flowering Flourishes stamp set, while the Raspberry Ripple layer was stamped with Delicate Doilies stamp set. No patterned paper necessary!
The most time-consuming part of designing this card was picking the colors. You know that I started with blue and green 😉
Because this card is relatively flat, it's well-suited to sending it by mail. So what are you waiting for? If you'd like to purchase any of the products used on this card, send me a quick email.

I hate to admit it, too. My card-making was mainly for posting and classes. Almost none for myself. Goes along with all those “projects” I was going to get to, once the kids went to college. Senior year starts next week. And I haven’t completed one of those projects…
Flowers and swirls- what a great combo! Of course I planned to make both Halloween and Christmas cards this summer- haven’t done one of either! Heavy sigh!
That IS difficult to believe 🙂
I like swirls even better than flowers!! That hardly seems possible!
Flowering flourishes is not just a flower set – It has lots of swirls, too. And I NEVER have enough swirls!
Vintage with bling!! Excellent!
I love, love, love So Saffron and I’m soooo glad that your darling daughter talked me into Raspberry Ripple!!
And now you’ve talked me into Flowering Flourishes, because, as I think we have established, one can never have too many flower stamp sets!!! Thank goodness!
