Card Design

I love to experiment with color combinations. But sometimes, I run out of ideas. I took today’s colors directly from the Stampin’ Up! Color Coach.

Here is a tiny glimpse of one of the July projects, designed exclusively for my Virtual Club Members.

This masculine birthday card has lots of bling.

While this card design is conservative in nature, I chose a bold color combination – Real Red and Marina Mist, with a little Basic Black to make everything pop.

I made this card by cutting out the stamped images from Fabulous Florets. Some sponging and Stampin’ Dimenstionals really gave this card some dimension!

This card is made with the Simply Said stamp set. I stamped the flower outlines several times on the card base. For fun, I took some small flower shapes from Playful Pieces and stamped them in So Saffron and Rose Red. They add a little POP!

I used the Fast & Fabulous hostess level 2 set to create this quick card.

I stepped outside my comfort zone and made this card using brown and yellow, not my typical colors!

I made this birthday card using Because I Care, one of the Level 1 Hostess stamp sets.

This baby card is not the traditional pale blue or pink. I used Sahara Sand, Perfect Plum and Blushing Bride.

Today’s card is a simple design using new stamp sets from the Summer mini: Pretty Postage and Fabulous Florets

This card was made with the Fabulous Florets stamp set in the summer mini. After stamping the flowers, I used my Aqua Painter to apply the Rich Razzleberry ink, giving it a watercolor effect.

This spring card has a lot of detail, due to the stamp design, the dry embossing and the Rhinestone Basic Hewels.
