I just love this Big Shot Textured Impressions Spider Web Embossing Folder! Since it was difficult to see the details in my previous posts, I decided to make another card … but with a difference.
This time, I used the DTP technique – Direct to Paper. I gently ran the Whisper White Craft Ink Pad along the cardstock, after embossing it. See how it highlights the raised parts? Add a mat and glue to the card front. And don't forget the spider at the top. Is he trying to crawl off the card and out of view?
And notice that I didn't use the traditional orange-and-black for this card. I went with red and black. Very striking!
Best of all, this was a 3-minute card. I should have made a dozen! While I love a good work of art, there's a place for some fast-and-easy projects, too! What do you think? Let me know.
Until next time,
Happy Stamping!
Sandi
