I'm having such fun with Valentines! This is one holiday where you can send cards to people and tell them that you like them! When my daughters were little, I sent them valentines and gave them fun little presents – often candy! This is such a happy day, I just have to make cards.
Here is today's sample.
This is another example of how layers add so much interest to a card. The main colors are Basic Black, Sahara Sand, Very Vanilla, and Real Red. Under the 3 main layers of Designer Series Paper and card stock, I added Basic Black card stock, with 1/8" showing all around. Wherever you see a shadow in th photo, I used Stampin' Dimensionals.
The stamp set is Valentine Defined from the Occasions mini catalog. I sponged the edges of the Very Vanilla card stock. The heart was punched from the very cool (or should I say HOT) Red Glimmer Paper. Add a piece of 3/8" Twill Tape and a brad in the "o" of Love. I think this card is just perfect.
Until next time,
Happy Stamping!
Sandi
Funny, it started as a very plain card that needed to be rescued. And it was so much fun to do.
Layers! Wonderful color combo! Bling! Layout! Sponging! Trim! This one’s got it all!!! Wow!!!
