Finally, technical issues are behind me. Now you can see for yourself – Sale-A-Bration Really is Bloomin' Marvelous!
This card was so much fun to make! First of all, I love those stamped flowers. That image is part of the Bloomin' Marvelous stamp set, one of the products you can earn for free during Sale-A-Bration. I inked the rubber stamp really well – which is so easy with our new firm foam Classic Ink Stampin' Pads – and then stamped it repeatedly from left to right, across the card, without re-inking. I only eye-balled the lines. I didn't want a perfect grid of flowers, as I feel that better resembles nature.
The mats were punched with the 1-1/4" Scallop Circle Punch (carried over from the Holiday Catalog) and the Scallop Oval Punch. Adding 3 little flowers punched from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack continued the scallop theme. Because they are so tiny, I attached them to the card with Glue Dots.
Colors are Midnight Muse and Old Olive. Together these give my card design an earthy feel. Of course I used Stampin' Dimensionals for these scallops, just to make them pop.
