Working with a new product is exciting, but when it’s a sneak peek, it’s even better. That’s how I feel about today’s project. It was made using the Flitting Florets Collection. These products – or some of them – will be in the January-June 2023 mini catalog. But they are available this month, too. Plus, there are a few “bonus” products that are here, only while supplies last. Aren’t they beautiful?
What can you make with Flitting Florets?
I immediately started to design cards… my favorite past time. I came up with a several cards. But today I chose 3 cards with similar layouts. I changed up the colors and the sentiments, so that they can be used for different occasions. Here’s one for a good friend.
Of course I started with blue, my absolute favorite color. When I started with card design, I was using more fall colors… oranges and browns. Somehow the pink and red called out to me! What do you think?
The stamps are part of the Framed Florets stamp set. The frame is one of the Framed Florets dies. Actually, the one die cuts the oval frame and center. I cut 2 – one in Polished Pink and one in Night of navy. I will use the unused pieces in another project! And the flower centers are made with the Adhesive-Backed Gold Swirls. I love embellishments that are adhesive-backed AND flat!
