I can't tell you how many versions of this card I made. I'm able to design cards so easily, but when it's for someone as special to me as my guy is, I panic. Do you ever do that?
At the end, I went with something tried-and-true.
It uses the Wonderful Favorites and I {Heart} Hearts stamp sets. The colors are Bashful Blue, Basic Black and Whisper White – I told you no pink and red for my husband. I kept it simple and to the point – just the way he is. The brad is from the Hodge Podge Hardware. It has a flower with the word "Genuine" around it. Really simple. The message inside the card is a little mushy, so I'm not going to show you that!
All this talk of valentines made me think – In how many languages can you say , "I love you"? I can say it in English, French, German, and Hebrew. How about you? Let me know in a comment below!
Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! Hope it's full of love and chocolate!
Until next time,
Happy Stamping!
Sandi
You’re absolutely correct – Chocolate is definitely the BEST language – lol!
Very classy card! Plenty of feeling without all the foofy-stuff! That blue/black is such a great color combination and the “genuine” brad is a really great touch. I’m afraid I’m not as multi-lingual as you. Maybe English, French and Spanish. But mostly you say “I love you” in chocolate! That’s a language all by itself, right?
