What’s Your New Year’s Resolution?

It’s the start of January! A brand new year! YAY!!! Out with the old and in with the new. Start with a blank slate. So, what’s your New Year’s Resolution?

I design a lot (and I do mean, a lot) of cards. My New Year’s Resolution is to share more of them with you. (I wanted to start on January 1, but I couldn’t find a charged battery in this house.) So, here is one of my favorite cards that I made this year. Perfect for Valentine;s Day. Or any day if it’s for someone special. AND it’s a sneak peek from the upcoming Occasions catalog. (It starts on January 6.)

I started with the Hello Life stamp set. I LOVE those hearts!!

I stamped each heart in a different color: Always Artichoke, Perfect Plum, Pool Party and Elegant Eggplant. Definitely NOT my typical palette. To strengthen the bold color choices, I added a punched heart in the center of 3 stamped hearts.

But look closer at the Pool Party heart…

What is that on it?!?!? It’s an Epoxy Sticker – from the Occasions catalog. These stickers come in packs of 27. They coordinate with the 1/2″ Circle Punch and the Itty bitty Accents Punch Pack. Definitely fun!!
