Card making classes at Stamped Impression

What are my card classes all about?

Do you realize that I give card making classes? Not every Stampin’ Up! demonstrator does that, but it is one of my passions. Really.

What kind of classes? Both in person and online.

So, what’s the difference?

In Person Classes

Every month, I hold a class in my home. We all sit around the table to work. Besides walking aways with finished cards, we have a lot of fun, laughing and talking all the time. It’s truly one of my favorite times!

I’d love to increase the number of in person classes. The biggest issue is that everyone has a different schedule. Some like weekdays, some like weeknights, others prefer weekends. I don’t have a dedicated stamp room for customers. I simply can’t tie up my dining room or kitchen for a week at a time. So, for now, it’s one class like this a week.

Online Classes

I started giving online classes during Covid. They are most successful. Each class includes:

  • videos, where I make the cards and provide tips,
  • pdf, where I provide a supplies list with dimensions, and links to my online store so that you can easily purchase any products you need (no pressure), and
  • card kit, usually containing cut cardstock, envelopes, patterned paper (i.e. Designer Series Paper), ribbon and embellishments.

These classes allow the participants to work on their projects at a time that works for them. You can dress comfortably and have snack nearby. Some of my customers meet in small groups. Each buys the class, but they assemble their projects together. Some even meet on Zoom to work “together”.

It’s so fun to see how everyone takes a card class!

How can you find out about classes?

The best way is to sign up for my free newsletter. That is where I usually describe upcoming classes. I also provide sign up instructions.

Occasionally, I email only the “regulars”, because I didn’t plan my time so well. But I try to keep this to a minimum.

There are other reasons to sign up for my newsletter. But it’s one place you’ll always hear about card class. And it’s an easy way to communicate with me. So, give it a try! Just complete the box at the top of the right hand column. Be sure to watch your email, because I’ll ask you to confirm.

Looking forward to seeing you on my newsletter subscription service!
