The Weekly Deals have been around for a while. I think that many of us no longer take the time to examine the special prices. But we should. For example, this week, the wooden version of the stamp set Truly Grateful is on sale for 25 percent off, or $20.96. It’s such a great set. How can you pass it by?

I started with the wheat shafts. Perfect for fall, don’t you think? I colored the stems with my Sahara Sand Marker and the ribbon with my Crushed Curry marker.
Then I tool out a Sponge Dauber and added bits of Crushed Curry, varying the intensity all over the wheat and the edges of the center rectangular card stock.
I added a strip of Watercolor Wonder Designer Washi Tape and some Candy Dots on the left. Did you notice the unusual configuration of dots! (Sometimes the step Outside the Box is very small. LOL.)
The main sentiment was stamped with Watercolor Thank You. This is one of my favorite stamps and well-used! But look at the background of that card stock. It’s stamped with the wood grain from Truly Grateful. Although very subtle, it really adds warmth and dimension to this project.
