Yes, it’s true. Today I faced my fears.
Do you do this? You buy a really neat tool or accessory, only to find yourself paralyzed with fear? You don’t want to break it. You certainly don’t want to make something ugly with it. You have no idea what to do with it!
Well, it happens to me, too. I couldn’t wait to order the Label Card Thinlits. They seem so cute and versatile. And they look like they can be used in a gazillion different – and unique – ways. But what could I create with it?!?! After all, I’m an independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrator (a.k.a. #livingthedream) and I can’t start by visiting PInterest and copying what I find there. The projects must be my own.
Today I took the plunge. I ran some Gumball Green card stock through my Big Shot die-cutting machine with the Label Card Thinlits. Doesn’t look like much, but I’m on my way!
Suddenly, I have a bunch of ideas. But I have to go out for a while. So, stay tuned. I’ll post a project later today … because today I faced my fears!
Very brave!
And see — this is why I wouldn’t become a demonstrator. PInterest and I are joined at the hip and we’re both pretty happy with the relationship at the moment!
Ha ha! A happy relationship is always good =]
