The Final Verdict? Postage Due Paper Daisy Rox!

Last night, I ran a special card class called Everything's Coming Up Daisies! And it was! Furthermore, one of the cards was a clear hit with the participants. To quote Alexis H. – "This card ROX! Not with a CKS, but with an X!" So I think that's good 🙂

Here is the card.

I started with the Postage Due stamp set. Of course, its vintage charm made me look immediately at Crumb Cake and Soft Suede. But then it needed a little Cherry Cobbler, just to make everything POP!

Of course, the purpose of the class was to use Paper Daisies on each project, to explore several techniques. On this card, I stamped, crumpled, sp0nged and daubered. Plus I inserted a Brad in the center to hold it all together.

This card design came so easily to me. Most of the time, I find that my designs evolve. I start with something, and then begin to switch colors and embellishments, not to mention stamp images and techniques. This case was one of those rare projects where I hit on the final product on my very first try. That makes it special to me!

But when Alexis said that it ROX, well, that made my day. Thank you, Alexis!
