Sweet Birthday Wishes – That's what I needed the other day. I wanted a card that was elaborate, but I didn't have the time to spend designing something elaborate. This is where I rely on a previous project.
This card started as an invitation I worked on with someone. But, a couple of easy changes and it's now a birthday card for a good friend. Stamp sets are Wedding Sweet (on front and inside card), Sincere Salutations (one of the first Stampin Up! sets I ever bought), Triple Treat Flower, and On Your Birthday (inside card). And these sets are all going away on June 1. So, if you need any of them, don't wait too long to place your order.
I also made good use of my Big Shot with the Snow Burst Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Fun Flowers Bigz L Die, and the Little Leaves Sizzlits Die. Of course, I didn't stop there, but went on to use punches – namely, Fancy Flower, 5-Petal Flower, and Ticket Corner Punches..
And finally, I added rhinestones – a Basic Rhinestone in the main flower and a tiny pink one to dot the "i" in "Birthday". To summarize, I had a lot of fun!!
Sweet Birthday Wishes, for sure!!
I believe I recognize this card!!
Even if you’re missing a couple of “parts”, I’m sure that you can find something to substitute. BUT, don’t forget to check the retiring stamp set list. Just to be sure that you have every stamp that you need 😉
Wow, I’ve got nearly all the parts for this card! Cool!! Love “Wedding Sweet” — so elegant. And that Little Leaves Sizzlits has come in handy so many times when you need just a bit of greenery.
