And that is the situation in which I found myself. I needed to make a card quickly, but didn't want it to look like I made it quickly. People expect something "special" from my cards. I don't know why – I'm not an artist. Well, this is what I made.
Simple, yet fun. A great combination!
I used the French Foliage (#120845/wood mount) or #121166/clear mount)stamp set on the background and the Thankful For (stamp set on the sentiment. Some Designer Series Paper, a button, coarse sponging – and we're done. Of course, I used a Mini Glue Dot (#103683) to attach the button. My colors are Elegant Eggplant, Cajun Craze, Always Artichoke (from the Regals Patterns DSP Pack #117154), and Whisper White. I stamped in Cajun Craze. The button is Elegant Eggplant (from Regals Designer Buttons #119744)).
The whole design is balanced, without being symmetrical. And, I used my current favorite stamp set as a subtle background for the first time!
Okay, I admit that I didn't put this together in 3 minutes flat. But it was definitely one of my quickest cards.
