After yesterday's bright card, I thought I'd do something a little more subdued. This is an elegant thank you card, made with yet another Sale-A-Bration stamp set.
I used both the Elegant Thank You Sale-A-Bration stamp set (SAB #123870) and the Baroque Motifs stamp set (#113490) from the Idea Book & Catalog. Colors are Sahara Sand and Basic Black. You couldn't get any simpler.
The sentiment is stamped on a layer of Sahara Sand card stock, then mounted on 3 more layers of card stock, alternating black and sand. I attached a flat band of Basic Black 5/8" Satin Ribbon (#115615) to the card. I also attached two loops from the same ribbon, on the back of the mounted sentiment, then attached the whole piece with Stampin' Dimensionals to the card. If you examine the photo carefully, you can see the loops. Makes a subtle statement. To add to this mood, I attached 3 tiny Basic Pearl Jewels (#119247) at the top right and bottom left of the card front.
Change the sentiment and I think it makes a lovely wedding card, too!
