It’s important to use the right tools to get the job done. That’s the beauty of the Stampin’ Up! product suites. They combine several products, with coordinating designs and colors. Choosing the right combination of tools – more specifically, the right tools for the job – makes it easy to assemble a card quickly.
The 4-1-1
- Designer Series Paper – provides a coordinated background, as well as the color combination for the card.
- Daisy Punch – once again in stock. Now, once again, not orderable. The Daisy Punch is a hit. It’s simple to use, it matches a stamp perfectly, and it’s an inexpensive tool. Here’s some data for you… Stampin’ Up! sold more of these punches in just over a month, than they sold of the most popular punch ever in 3 years!! Man, so wonder they can’t keep it in stock. The next shipment is expected on July 31.
- Glitter Enamel Dots – add an unexpected sparkle. Need I say more???
Tips for Making the Daisy
The cardstock and the Designer Series Paper both have Daffodil Delight in them. However, when I stamped the daisy in that color, it faded into the background. This wasn’t the effect I was after.
So, I stamped the flower in Crushed Curry. I wouldn’t pair a Daffodil Delight skirt with a Crushed Curry blouse. But these colors work well together on a card!
I also used my Bone Folder to curl up the ends of top petals. The 3-D effect is fun!
