Since it's Election Day here in the United States, I have Red White & Blue on my mind. So, here is what I did with it!
I created this card with an extraordinarily simple design! The colors were taken from the American Flag … or a reasonable facsimile of it, namely Real Read, Whisper White and Midnight Muse. (In my original design, I had the red unit at the upper left corner, but that started to look too much like the flag.)
The sentiment is from the Friendship Preserves stamp set. After stamping, I ran the card stock through the Big Shot with the Window Frames Collection Framelits Dies. Notice that I didn't attach them with parallel edges. I think this makes the unit a little more interesting. Also, if you look closely, you'll see that I pierced around the edge of the red card stock using the Festive Paper-Piercing Pack. The white card front was embossed using the Diagonal Plate on the Simply Scored Scoring Tool and I added 3 Silver Mini Brads on the right.
Stampin' Dimensionals make everything pop.
It's a happy Red White & Blue thanks for Election Day!
