Do you ever need a quick and easy birthday card? And when you do, is it usually for a man? Well, that’ seems to happen to many of my readers. Here is a design I use often. Switch up the colors, or change the embossing folder, and you have a totally different look!
The only hand stamping is on the sentiment. After stamping, I punched it out using the Word Window Punch.I attached a Candy Dot in a Candy Dot Brad Base at each end.
Colors are Sahara Sand, Old Olive and Marina Mist. I punched a set of circles and attached them to the top layer of the card, each with the tiniest dab of Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I ran the whole thing through the Big Shot with the Chevron Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
Everything was just glued together with SNAIL Adhesive, except the for Basic Black card stock and the embossed layer. These were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Switch up the colors to suit the occasion, as well as the recipient’s taste, and you have a perfect card for any man!
Top 3 Tips:
- Stamp the sentiment first, then punch it out. This is by far the easiest way to achieve perfect placement of the stamping.
- When using the Multipurpose Liquid Glue, be sure to use just a teeny bit. Otherwise, it will squeeze out when you run the piece through the card stock.
- When attaching the circles to the card stock rectangle, be sure to have a few stick out past the edge. It makes an interesting design!
Now that you know how, you, too, can make a quick and easy masculine birthday card!
