Today is Labor Day, a holiday from work for most of us. The great thing about owning my own stamping business is that I can adjust my schedule as needed, to fit into my life. I have a busy week ahead of me, so I thought I would get a head start today. Here is my project. It definitely demonstrates Fun with Postage Due!
All stamped images are from Postage Due, one of the new stamp sets from the Annual Catalog. The central piece was cut out by running the card stock through the Big Shot with the Apothecary Accents Framelits. I also ran the Not Quite Navy card stock through with the Vintage Wallpaper Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. It adds an interesting texture to the card design, as does all the sponging and the piece of Victoria 5/8" Crochet Trim.
I used lots of layers on this card. The sponging and Stampin' Dimensionals help distinguish one layer from the next. Makes a rather strong statement!
There is no sentiment on the front of this card. That way, I can add whatever note I like on the inside. This is a card that I made for no particular reason, but to add to my stash. It really was Fun with Postage Due!
Isn’t it super?! I’m SO glad I made the “investment”
I love this stamp set! It’s on my “next” list!!
