In spite of all the good deals, I'm not much of a Black Friday shopper. While everyone is out there shopping for the best deals, I make a few purchases, but then head home to the tranquility of my craft room! But I'm thinking of all of my shopping friends. I'm thinking of You on Black Friday!
The flowers are stamped with Pleasant Poppies stamp set. (I love these flowers! Do you think I'll still be stamping with them during January and February?) The words "thinking of" are from Teeny Tiny Wishes, while the word "YOU" is from the Lovely Letters Alphabet stamp set.
I could have stamped the word "YOU" directing on the card front. However, today I decided to highlight a trick that you can use when you're not comfortable placing stamped images in a particular spot. I stamped each letter on a piece of card stock, then punched each out with the 1" Circle Punch. The circles were too bare, so I sponged the edges. Then I glued each onto the card front. This technique works with images, too. And you're not limited to circles – you can use any shape.
This simple card is quick to assemble. That leaves you more time for making more cards. Or shopping, if that's how you want to spend your day! (And if you are shopping, don't forget about my free shipping today, Black Friday, through Monday, Cyber Monday!) Just Thinking of You on Black Friday!
