October Class Project

The other day, I showed a small piece of a card front from this week's class. Well, here is the whole thing.

DayOfGratitutde01

Each flower was made from 2 circles of Designer Series Paper – one 1-1/4" and the other 1-3/8". The top circle was folded in fourths, then crinkled a little in my hand. A Silver Mini Brad was inserted through the center. To keep the fun theme going, I made the leaves from circles, too. The bottom "border" was made by ruching some 1/2" Seam Binding.

After class, I decide to "dress up" my card a bit more. Here is what I made:

DayOfGratitutde02

I added a 1/2" circle of card stock to the center of each flower, with a Clear Rhinestone Brad in one.

The fun theme is good for any celebration, or even a get well wish! Try these flowers. They're a snap!

Until next time,
Happy Stamping!

  1. Okay, I just now caught the background change to Circle Circus! Sheesh! Not very observant, am I! Must be because it looks so good with the flower circles. I will definitely be trying that, too!

  2. I don’t use that punch all that often but there seem to be quite a few occasions where I’m glad I’ve got it. Happy to share it with you!!

  3. That Boho Punch … I didn’t buy it when it first came out, and every year I look at it in the catalog …

Maybe it’s time I made the investment – lol!

Let me know how it turns out. I think that will be very extra-cute!

  4. Some extra cute!!! I might try one of the Boho punches in a more “traditional” flower shape, just to shake things up! Love the bling!
