Stamped Impression - Basic Stamping Tools

Need Some Stamping Inspiration? Take a Class!

Need some stamping inspiration? Take a class!

When I need a some stamping inspiration, I look to others who share the same interests as me. For me, it’s typically my upline & sidelines. (Those are my “colleagues” in the direct sales world.)

I look at their creations, using them as a starting point for my own designs. It’s always been my approach to my cardmaking and classes. And that’s what I present to you! You don’t need to wade through tons of sites on the internet. Simply start here!

Online card class – for new and experienced stampers

With the restricted activities due to covid-19, I started offering online card classes. I thought I could reach new & experienced stampers, just as I had when we worked around my kitchen table.

In reality, I provided instructions only for people who have stamped before and have some supplies. That wasn’t my intention, but that’s how it played out.

Start with Basic Stamping Tools

So, I changed all that. To address the needs of the newer stamper, I put together the Basic Stamping Tools Bundles. When you sign up for an online class now, you can order one or more of these bundles.

I offer 3 different sets of tools, depending on where you want to start. Check out the BASIC Stamping Tools Bundles here. Remember, these bundles are available only through me and only in the United States.

In addition, I’m putting together free videos, to show how to use these items. Of course, I couldn’t wait to tell you about the bundles. But the videos won’t be ready for a few days. I know, this is not the best way to introduce them… Just keep this in mind as you look over the newest online card class.

Designing with Circles

Circle Celebration online card class

This card class provides lots of inspiration. Specifically, it explores the use of circles on card designs. I could have picked any shape, but circles are my favorite! I use the same set of elements as backgrounds and focal points, both in combination with others and on their own. You’ll learn how to make any element take on a specific role in a card design.

While I base this class on the Circle Celebration stamp set (page 38 of the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog), you can substitute a stamp set that you already own. In fact, I’ll also provide a set of alternate designs, showing the cards with another stamp set. So, don’t feel obligated to buy Circle Celebration. You need it only if you want your cards to look exactly like mine!

What’s included in Designing with Circles?

Your class kit includes all cardstock and envelopes for you to make 8 cards – that’s 2 in each of 4 designs. Cardstock is cut/die cut for you. You’ll need to supply stamps, ink and adhesive. Stampin’ Up! doesn’t allow us to sell stamped images, unless it’s a finished product. I also find that everyone has a different adhesive of choice. In any case, if you don’t have ink or adhesive, you can order them separately, or get them in a Basic Stamping Tools Bundle! 🙂

I also include 2 yards of ribbon and a pack of Artistry Blooms sequins in each kit. This is way more than you need for the class, leaving lots of stuff for future projects! Be sure to look for bonus materials in your kit, well, just because I appreciate you!

Note that colors may change due to backorders in shipping.

You can buy Circle Celebration stamp set when you register for class. When you do it this way, I cover the shipping and sales tax for it.

Instructions are provided in videos and pdf files.

If you prefer, you can choose to purchase only the pdf file. This excludes the materials in the class kit and access to the videos. The pdf contains all measurements and instructions to make the cards, but not all the tips in the videos.

Is there a deadline to register?

You must register AND pay in full by Thursday, April 8, 2021. This is a hard deadline, as I’ll place my Stampin’ Up! order at 7 am the next morning. Then, I’ll ship your class kit by Saturday, April 17, 2021, by Priority Post, so that you have tracking information. Please note that I can’t guarantee when the kit will arrive at your home.

If you’d like to order other Stampin’ Up! products at the same time, so that I ship them with your class kit, be sure to let me know. I’ll calculate your cost and invoice you. This, too, must be paid at the same time as your class fee.

Ready to register for Designing with Circles?

Start by completing the Google form. And, yes, it asks for your email two times. Sorry! If you’d like a Basic Stamping Tools Bundle, don’t forget to tell me that, too!
