My Second Post Today … More Artistic

This is my second post today … definitely more artistic than my first one!

Stamp set is Elementary Elegance, another one that you can earn for free during Sale-A-Bration. I guess I'm now a little stuck on Calypso Coral. I continue to use it, even without the coordinating Designer Series Paper. This time, I combined it with Baja Breeze and So Saffron. Calypso Coral is used in a very small amount, just to make the other colors pop.

I made good use of Stampin' Dimensionals here on the center element.  Take a closer look.

And, just in case you can't see the embossing well, I added a little sponging.

Another Sale-A-Bration freebie is the Stripes Textured Impression Embossing Folder. Not only does it add dimension to my card design, but the raised stripes help me place the 3 flowers in the lower right corner precisely at even distances. How practical!

I also want to comment on adhesive. So often I hear a customer say that something "didn't stick well." It's so important to use the correct adhesive for the job and materials. On this card, I used Stampin' Dimensionals on the center element. However, I used a Mini Glue Dot under every small Baja Breeze flower. And I used the Tombow Multi-Purpose Glue under the striped embossed rectangle. If you not sure which adhesive to use, you can always refer to the Idea Book & Catalog, or just ask me!
