My Fun Weekend last weekend included a trip to Milwaukee. I drove there to attend the Stampin' Up! Spring Regional Meeting. It was so much fun. Besides having a great time, I learned different ways to manage my business, picked up some stamping and digital scrapbooking tips, and networked with some really great demos. Here is a photo of the Stampahowlics who attended the meeting. The Stampahowlics are the 5 levels of demonstrators under my upline, Janice. Can you see me in the second row?
Just so you know that I was not wasting my time, here is a card I made, inspired by one of the swaps I received.
This card used the Easy Events stamp set from the Idea Book & Catalog. I nearly missed this set when I last looked through the book. So cute! Add some layering, the Designer Series Paper Stack and folded 3/5" Satin Ribbon, and you have a sweet card. Because of the use of black and white, you can even get away with sending this to a man!
Attending this meeting is one of the perks of being an independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator. This is such a great business to start, however, it's even better during Sale-A-Bration. The cost of the Starter Kit is reduced to $125. Plus, every new demonstrator can choose a pack of Designer Series Paper or a Digital Download for free every month for the rest of the year.
Let's do the math. A pack of Designer Series paper is $10.95 – and a free pack every month for the rest of 2012 is worth $109.50. That means, if you sign up before the end of March, your net cost will be only $15.50.
With that small investment, you have $449 of products that will start you with the best business toolkit. So, if you have any questions, or you know someone who would be interested in starting their own business, please contact me today. Sale-A-Bration is a great time to become an independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator.
Join my team and next year, please join me at My Fun Weekend!
