I was looking over tonight card class materials. One of the things that we'll be doing is sponging and stamping card stock, so that it completely fills the background. No two cards will be the same. Really fun. And, while it's not at all difficult to do, I think I need to balance my creativity with some quick techniques. Enter Designer Series Paper!
I absolutely love the Gently Falling stamp set from the Holiday Mini. And autumn leaves naturally ask for randomly scattered leaves in the background. (DId you notice the leaves from Array of Sunshine, one of our hostess sets, on the background?)
I used Stampin' Write Markers and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter on the focal leaf. Looking at it now, I think I should have stamped in at an angle. Hmmm. I double mounted the leaf and added the Early Espresso 3/8" Quilted Satin Ribbon. So, it stands out. Instead of stamping all over the other square, I used some Well Worn Designer Series Paper. I've bought more than one pack of that paper, because I use it so much – lol.
So, when you need to add something to a project that is quick, look to the Designer Series Paper. It couldn't be easier!
Until next time,
Happy Stamping!
