Hello, Stamping Friends. The Big News today is that the Holiday Catalog shopping season has begun. This is always a fun time!
Here’s a card to get your creative juices flowing.
Don’t you love the font? After years of delicate text, I’m so happy to start using bolder sentiments! (This is a comment on my design style.)
The stamp set is Carols of Christmas. It was available during August, as a sneak peek item. But today, it stands tall in the new Holiday Catalog!
The stamp set can be purchased in a bundle with the Card Front Builder Thinlits. These Thinlits are very different in style from what I’ve seen before at Stampin’ Up! I love that we have background designs, border designs and small images. All this is from one set of Thinlits!
How about the sky? My color scheme is Night of Navy and So Saffron. But I added a layer of gold foil under the moon and stars to make them a little special. Gold foil doilies under the matted sentiment emphasize the shine!
