Happy You, my friends! It's Friday and here in the Midwest the weather is beautiful. So, we don't need to wear our boots.
I made this card to swap last weekend. (I attended another event hosted by my upline. It was so inspiring to spend time with other demonstrators.) I wanted to work with the new Happy You stamp set. Isn't it fun? By the way, Happy You is a hostess set. You can purchase it with credit you earn when hosting a Stampin' Up! home party. It's our way of saying Thank You.
After stamping the boot, I colored it with my Stampin' Write Markers, and added a little Dazzling Diamonds to the flowers. Then I stamped the background of the card with flower images from Betsy's Blossoms. I'm happy with the light-hearted look.
Check out the Daffodil Delight Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon. Such a nice shade. And it's softer than our previous grosgrain ribbon, making it much easier to manipulate on our projects. I need to pick out a few more colors!
Even though I used the bright ribbon, the card stock is Bashful Blue, Soft Suede and So Saffron. You don't have to match the colors exactly.
