I'm so lucky, and on a day like today, I take the time to think about it.
Here is my final Thanksgiving card. It the Holiday Card I planned to send it out this year, but my husband misunderstood. He thought I was doing that in addition to Hanukkah and Christmas cards, not instead of Hanukkah and Christmas cards. So, back to the original plan. But this way, I get to share it with all of you!!
It's standing a little crooked. Sorry. But the lines are perfectly straight on the card!
I used the French Foliage (why are you not surprised?!) and Day of Gratitude stamp sets. The leaves were stamped on Very Vanilla card stock in Cajun Craze, Always Artichoke and More Mustard. This was mounted on Always Artichoke, Brushed Gold, Cajun Craze and Early Espresso. Then the whole thing was attached to a Very Vanilla card base. I stamped the sentiment, punched it out with the Large Oval Punch, sponged the edges and attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. A very typical Sandi-style. It works well.
Well, I'm off to work on our Thanksgiving dinner. The whole family is here – another reason I'm thankful – and I plan to enjoy every minute of this day.
