Why do I always struggle to get ready for a holiday way ahead of its start?! Happy Hanukkah, everyone!! This holiday begins tonight at sunset, with the lighting of the first candle. Each night for the next eight nights, we'll add one more candle. On the last night, the entire room is warm with the glow of the candlelight – truly beautiful!!
This card was made using Shalom Sayings and the candles from Party Hearty! I used Whisper White, Night of Navy and Brushed Gold card stock. The menorah was stamped in VersaMark, then heat embossed with Stampin' Up! Gold Detail Embossing Powder. That's why you can see the individual letters and flames in the image! I stamped the candles on the card front in Bashful Blue and Night of Navy ink. The 5/8" Night of Navy Satin Ribbon has a simple knot tied in the center.
Not a fancy or elaborate card, it captures the fun spirit of the holiday! What do you think?
