When I think of Hawaii, I think of big, bold flowers and beautiful beaches. How about you? Well, today, August 21, marks the 54th anniversary of Hawaii becoming the 50th State. This card celebrates that event!
Although I own a few (!) flower stamp sets, I created this flower image with Work of Art.
I know, I certainly don’t need another way to make a flower. But just in case you do, here it is.
I stamped the squiggle six time. They are not perfectly placed. They do not overlap in the center.
But with a punched center, created with the 7/8″ Circle Punch, it sure looks perfect.
A perfect flower to say, “Happy Birthday, Hawaii!“
Whoever designed “Work of Art” was a genius! (or a true artist!) Hope it doesn’t retire for a long, long time!!!
I’m with you on that. I have too much experimenting to do!
I really like the simplicity of this card and think it looks great!
Thank you! Again, the abstract shapes of the Work of Art stamp set made it so easy and fun!
