This card design sends Get Well Wishes & Flowers to someone special. Who wouldn’t feel better after receiving this card?
The 4-1-1
- Use both punches and dies cuts – Don’t feel that you must make an either-or choice when making a card. The flowers were stamped, then cut out with a handheld punch. The leaves in the background were die cut. The lines in both shapes work well together!
- Add shimmer wherever you can! – The flowers are pretty, but glitter always makes things prettier! If you examine the photo below, you can see a little of the Wink of Stella I added to the petals. Ahhhhh.
- Never let a mistake hold you back – Please don’t share this with anyone… If you look below the matted sentiment, you can see an extra green mark. Confession time. I dropped an open ink pad on my finished card. I had to redo the sentiment and all it’s layers. I added the stamped butterflies as camouflage. Did it work? Please leave a comment and let me know. Thanks!!

Some Additional Details
There are lots of extra details in this card design. Did you notice the stitching around the stamped sentiment? The Stitched Shapes Framelits are again available for ordering. They add a special touch everywhere they appear.
And what about the enamel flower centers. Love them!
