Flower Shop for a Simple, Clean Card Design

I knew that I’d love using the new Flower Shop stamp set. The beautiful rubber images are so versatile. However, today I used Flower Shop for a simple, clean card design.

See how I used the Flower Shop stamp set in a simple card design.I used only one type of pansy from the set. The background flowers were stamped in Crushed Curry. Then I stamped 3 flowers in Rich Razzleberry on scrap card stock, punching them out with the Pansy Punch. They were attached to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The sentiment is from Six-Sided Sampler, another new stamp set in the 2013-2014 annual catalog.

Simple coloring, with few layers and other embellishments, keeps this card design simple and clean. Yet it’s pleasing – not boring at all!

For an added touch, I stamped more Crushed Curry flowers on the inside. Take a peek.

A little peek on the inside reveals more stamped flowers!Simple and clean designs are suitable for any occasion. I use them often when I mail a hand stamped card and they don’t require extra postage and they rarely arrive damaged at the other end!

This card design is also suited to mass-production. So, if you want to create a bunch of cards to have on hand, this design is for you.

Hmmm. How do you “mass produce” a lot of hand stamped cards? That will make an excellent blog post! Stay tuned!

In the meanwhile, feel free to CASE this card to use Flower Shop for a simple, clean card design of your own!
