Okay, I admit it. I’m not a big fan of the oranges and browns. That usually means that I don’t make a lot of cards using fall colors. However, the Year of Cheer Specialty Washi Tape has come to the rescue!

I stamped the leaves in So Saffron ink, some large and some small. Then I stamped the outline of the large maple leaves in Always Artichoke. In order to keep the design light and whimsical, I didn’t align the green outline with the solid yellow. Actually, I think it shows some movement. Can you see the leaves falling and blowing in the wind?
My favorite part of this design is the strip of Washi Tape along the left. It contains some gold, silver AND copper. Love it! It really highlights the best of autumn!
This card was used as inspiration for last night’s Monthly Card Class. That’s an in-person class I give in my home. I try to show one technique and 2 simple designs. That way, we keep stress levels low and attention levels high! I think it works out well!
Here are the supplies I used to make this card:
This card is a nice, easy way to get back into card making. After all, the holidays are just around the corner. Are you ready? Have you started? No, well, think about it. And let me know if I can help!
