Fabric on Cards?

Fabric on Cards? Absolutely. It's a design technique that I don't use often. But, I decided to explore it a little today. Click on the photo for a larger view.

That's not ribbon near the bottom of the card - it's fabric!

Near the bottom of the card, I tied a narrow strip of Twitterpated Designer Fabric, from the Occasions mini. It's is little more interesting that just plain ribbon. Adds a whimsical touch, don't you think? The paper is Twitterpated Designer Series Paper. Although it's not necessary, using products from the same Suite, in this case, the Twitterpated Product Suite, makes it so easy to choose elements for one project.

The sentiment is from the Outlined Occasions stamp set, one that you can earn for free during Sale-A-Bration. I colored the letters with different Stampin' Write Markers.

Kind of fun. And definitely out-of-the-box for me! So, how about it? On your next project, why don't you use Fabric on cards?

So, how about it?
