There are so many things that you can do with Paper Daisies. Have you worked with them?
Yesterday I posted a card on my facebook page – and if you are not yet a fan, please go there and Like it. Thank you. This card created a lot of comments, as it was designed in celebration of Left Handers Day. Here is the card.
However, the main reason I'm showing the card here, is so that you can see the Paper Daisy. It difficult to tell in the phone, but that daisy is stamped, heat embossed, and sponged. Itsn't it cool?
I think the Paper Daisies are some of the most over-looked embellishments in the Stampin' Up! catalog. They are so versatile.
Next week, I'm holding a card class where we'll be exploring some of the stamping techniques using Paper Daisies. I call it Everything's Coming Up Daisies and I can't wait!
Looking again at this card's design, I used Betsy's Blossoms and Lovely Letters stamp sets. Colors are Midnight Muse, Marina Mist, Pool Party and Certainly Celery. The bird has a Rhinestone Basic Jewel for its eye and the Paper Daisy has a Vintage Faceted Designer Button in its center.
So, Happy Left Handers Day to all of you Southpaws! And to all of you, a Happy Stamping Paper Daisy Day!

For sure! You’re a regular attendee. It’s the least I can do.
Too bad you’re missing this class. I’m expecting 7 people around my table. Lots of laughing required! But you can be sure that we’ll miss you! Hope you can come next month.
Sorry I will miss the class. Maybe I can at least see the cards? Looks totally fun!
